Bot Properties
The default AIML files may reference certain bot properties and without a value the bot will return the word 'unknown', for example if the user asks "who is your favorite band?" and the property is not set the bot will return "unknown".
The table below details the bot properties referenced in the default AIML files and It is a good idea to fill in as many of these as possible.
If you have installed a version of the portal then the settings are listed in the bot_properties.php config file. These settings are used to populate new bots with a default value when you install your first bot with the command. Subsequent bots created in the portal do NOT use the default value. You can ignore these values if you are using the API hosted on RapidAPI.
